ICT and LMS rollouts
As a part of working parties at The Scots College and St. Vincent's College, I had a major part in rolling out new institutional wide ICT programs.
At The Scots College, I undertook an instructional type role and facilitated the introduction of Toshiba Tablets for students and teachers. In 2006, we devised a leasing plan for hardware and I ran how to/functionality workshops to help teachers embed ICT within the curriculum. In 2009, the introduction of an Apple partnership saw the rollout of Macs for students and teachers. My role was to run instructional workshops for students, teachers and parents. A curriculum was developed for different stakeholders in order to integrate ICT within the learning pedagogy.
At St. Vincent's College, a LMS pilot was implemented to create more effective learning pedagogies. The pilot involved surveys, research, school visits, conversations with suppliers and teacher workshops. Microsoft OneDrive was introduced and the LMS was integrated into classrooms. As a part of improving the physical and online learning environments within the College, there was a considerable change in attitudes and culture within classrooms. In 2017, I was also a part of the working party to introduce Google Suite as the new LMS.
